Left Right Discrimination App

People who have had a stroke may have difficulty differentiating between left and right, such as their left hand from their right hand. This App page contains resources such as flash cards to improve your left vs. right discrimination for stroke recovery. These App exercises are based on an approach called Graded Motor Imagery (GMI), which can help promote motor recovery (movement) after a stroke. Research shows that left right discrimination exercises and Apps such as those from GMI (stage 1 of 3) results in better outcomes than conventional therapy.

This Left Right Discrimination App is completely free to use and no registration is required. However, if you want to save your progress, scores, and times, please create an account and login.
